Sunway Winstar Sdn Bhd was established in 1980 and became a member of the Sunway Group in 2015.

We are one of the largest trading companies for hardware products in Malaysia, specializing in supplying a wide range of products such as industrial hardware, DIY hardware, personal safety products, lubricants, epoxy adhesive, car care products, welding, household, aluminium, building materials, and more.

Besides having our own exclusive brands such as Nietz, Picasaf, Celoni, Strongman and Starweld, we are also closely associated with many reputable suppliers such as Bosch, 3M, Honeywell, Stanley, Black and Decker, GP Batteries, Weber, Araldite, and more.

Sunway Group ranks as the second most sustainable employer out of 100 winners and close to 1,000 nominees across the country in the Sustainable Employer Index (SEI). Winners were evaluated based on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) preparedness of corporate boards of Malaysia’s largest public listed companies by independent research organisation, Sustainable Employer Research Centre.

Sunway Group bags four awards at the Sustainable Business Awards 2020/21. The Group emerged top in the categories of Sustainability Strategy and Energy Management, and took home the Significant Achievement award in the categories of Climate Change & Emission and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sunway Berhad bags the “Gold” award in the Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Digital) category while Sunway REIT sweeps the “Bronze” award in the Asia’s Best Integrated Report (Design) category at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards 2020.

We espouse a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption in our business dealings with all stakeholders governed by the Sunway Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) policy.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

Sunway’s Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) policy was approved by the Board in 2019. It covers the Group’s anti-bribery and corruption strategies as well as action plans in preventing, detecting and managing bribery and corruption issues. Sunway does not make or offer monetary or in-kind political contributions to political parties, political party officials or candidates for political office. In 2020, we rolled out training on the ABC policy to all Sunway staff. On top of this, our suppliers and customers are required to strictly comply to Sunway’s ABC policy as well.

Anti-Money Laundering Policy

Sunway is strongly against all kinds of money laundering including dealing in the proceeds of criminal activities and terrorism financing. This policy guides all Sunway employees on strengthening anti-money laundering governance and reiterates Sunway’s commitment to complying with the Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
